Graduation Requirements
Graduates of the IWU’s criminal justice distance learning bachelor degree receive the same diploma as student graduates from the on-campus BSJ program. In order to graduate, you must successfully complete the courses for the distance learning bachelor degree to your instructors’ satisfaction and meet the following requirements.
Graduating from the IWU BSJ Degree Program
In order to graduate, you must complete the following requirements:
- Complete a total of 124 semester credits. The total of 124 credits must include thirty (30) credits in Liberal Arts including:
- Six (6) credits in Philosophy/Religion and Biblical Literature (a minimum of 3 credits must be in Biblical Literature)
- Six (6) credits English/Composition
- Six (6) credits Social Science
- Three (3) credits Math/Science
- Three (3) credits Fine Arts
- Six (6) credits Liberal Arts Electives (from any of the above listed categories).
The remaining credits may be earned though classes, DANTES, CLEP or Portfolio.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Payment of all tuition and fees.
By meeting these requirements, you complete the criminal justice distance learning bachelor degree program.
