Accounting and Health Care Management Graduate Certificates
Indiana Wesleyan's College of Adult and Professional Studies offers two certificate programs in the areas of Accounting and Health Care Management. These programs are designed to provide graduate students opportunities to focus on specific career-oriented areas. The certificates are offered in an online format.
Certificates are available to students who have a baccalaureate or masters degree from a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting body or the Association for Biblical Higher Education. Students may be accepted as an unclassified student. Official transcripts must be submitted for verification of the appropriate degree.
Health Care Management Graduate Certificate
The four courses in the certificate program were selected and written to provide the health care professional a comprehensive understanding of the operational issues facing those in leadership positions within the health care industry.
Accounting Graduate Certificate
This specialization allows accountants to accrue hours towards sitting for their CPA exam. Because of the academic rigor specific accounting prerequisites must be bet before enrolling. The Auditing and Information Systems courses include simulations.
Accounting and Health Care Management Graduate Certificate Admission Requirements
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 from the degree-granting institution (baccalaureate or master).
- Accounting Certificate requires an MBA or 6 graduate credits in accounting or 12 undergraduate credits in accounting with a minimum of "B" in each course.
- Official transcripts from a regionally accredited college or university showing that you have earned either a baccalaureate or master level degree.
Accounting and Health Care Management Certificate Program Completion Requirements
To be awarded the certificate, a student will need to take the specified twelve (12) credit hours at Indiana Wesleyan University with a grade of "B" or better in each course.
- Successful completion of the 12 credit hour curriculum
- A grade of “B” or higher in each of the four graduate level courses.
- Payment of all Tuition and Fees

Accounting and Health Care Management Graduate Certificates Costs
Tuition - $5,220 ($435 per credit hour)
Books and Materials - $758 (estimated). Costs for students not living in the 48 contiguous states will be higher.
The above costs are valid from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.
Student Services Provided
- Textbooks are provided and mailed to student’s residence.
- Seven day a week Technical Support Services will assist students with computer questions.
- Off-Campus Library Services is available to assist students in finding research materials.
